Boeing Starts to Assemble First 737 MAX

Boeing has started assembly of wings for its latest 737, the 737 MAX. The company revealed this at its Renton 737 plant.

The 737 MAX, among other things, will have better engines that will allow the airplane to run more efficiently. It will also boast bigger windows and more cabin-luggage space. A big part of the 737 MAX assembly will be the use of a more automated system of assembly.

The first flight is to be somewhere in 2016 with deliveries starting in 2017.
