Delta is upgrading it’s Delta One business class seat for its upcoming deliveries of the a350. The new Delta One seats will all have aisle access and have doors to make them personal suites. Here are the main features as advertised by Delta:

• A full-height door at every suite
• Sliding privacy dividers between center suites
• In-suite, customizable ambient lighting
• Dedicated stowage compartments for shoes, headphones and laptops
• Contemporary design featuring premium trim and finishes
• Memory foam-enhanced comfort cushion
• An 18-inch, high resolution in-flight entertainment monitor, the largest among U.S. carriers
• A universal power outlet and high-powered USB port at every seat

This is coming after 2014 when Delta finished equipping its wide body international fleet with full flat-bed seats with direct aisle access. The new seats announced today will debut on Delta’s first Airbus a350 set for delivery in 2017. There will be 32 Delta One seats in each a350. Delta will also progressively update their 777 fleet with these upgraded seats as well. As of right now the rest of Delta’s fleet will keep the current Delta One or First Class seats.
