Recently, Fandagear featured an article that stated that December 13, 2014 would be when Qatar received the first a350. On December 10 Qatar told Airbus that it would be postponing the delivery for a minor reason. Airbus confirmed this fact, but is unable to provide a reason for the delay. Many speculate that its an interior detail as Qatar has been known to delay brand new aircraft for just that reason. The negative part of the announcement was Airbus’s share went plummeting down in value.

As of right now the plane is still scheduled to make its first commercial flight to Frankfurt on January 15, but we’ll have to see if the plane is delivered on time.
