RIOgaleão offers three A380 parking stands and joins a list of 23o A380 compatible airports around the world. This is now the fourth airport in Latin America with A380 capability. The other three are Benito Juarez Mexico City Airport, Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport and Cancun International Airport. There are currently no regular A380 flights to Rio, but the airport is now ready if airlines decided to bring A380s there.
