Boeing to Provide Service to Uzbekistan Airways

Boeing and Uzbekistan Airways have made an agreement to help maintain the airline’s fleet of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with landing gear services.

Uzbekistan Airways is the flag carrier for the Republic of Uzbekistan. Boeing will provide a service that provides landing gear exchanges when needed. In turn, aircraft can spend less time on maintenance and return to flying quicker.

The 787 Landing Gear Exchange program allows airlines to quickly overhaul landing gear. Landing gears that need service are exchanged with Boeing for a set of certified landing gear that Boeing maintains.

Boeing and Uzbekistan Airways have been working together for more than 20 years. The airline flies to more than 50 destinations. Currently, the airline and Boeing operate a Composite Repair Shop in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
