Fiji Airways’ announced today that it will purchase five (5) Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

The aircraft will expand the Boeing fleet size of Fiji Airways to a total of 10 Boeing aircraft. Fiji currently operates one (1) Boeing 737-700 and four (4) Boeing 737-800s in addition to 4 Airbus A330s.

Fiji Airways is the national airline of the nation of Fiji and is based at Nadi, Fiji. The airline operates flights out of Fiji to ten (10) countries and seventeen (17) cities around the Pacific Ocean.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is part of the newest generation of the Boeing 737 family, featuring many upgrades in avionics, efficiency, and aerodynamics to bring the popular 737 line of aircraft to modern standards.
