Vietnam Airlines Receives 10th Boeing 787

Vietnam Airlines has received their 10th Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The first Boeing 787-9 was delivered in July 2015.

Vietnam Airlines is proud to welcome our 10th Boeing 787 Dreamliner on behalf of Vietnam Airlines, only 16 months after we took delivery of the first of these state-of-the-art new aircraft.

Phan Xuan Duc, Vietnam Airlines Executive Vice President

Vietnam Airlines has nine (9) more Boeing 787 aircraft on order.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a super-efficient commercial airline that uses 20-25% less fuel and 20-25% fewer emissions than current aircraft.

Vietnam Airlines is the flag carrier of Vietnam, operating 92 routes (20 domestic, 29 international) with an average of 400 daily flights. The airline is the first airline from the Southeast Asia to become a member of the SkyTeam Alliance. Vietnam Airlines’ current fleet of Boeing 787s has flown over 7,600 flights, 35,500 flight hours, and 1.79 million passengers.
