Germanwings Crash

April 2 7:05pm CST Update:

This past week has brought new developments to the crash, especially when it comes to the copilots motives:

  • Just today the FDR (flight data recorder) was recovered and will help investigators piece together what happened on the plane.
  • The copilot (who is said to have intentionally crashed the plane) was hiding medical records from his employers.
  • He was also said to have been treated for sducidal tendencies and was suffering from depression.

Most of the week was spent with prosecutors looking into motives for the crash and it now seems like they are close to cracking the case.

March 26 3:59pm CST Update:

In the past 36-48 hours, there have been shocking updates to the Germanwings crash:

  • Pilot was out of cockpit at time of crash
  • Copilot was flying the plane
  • Copilot would not let the pilot back in
  • Copilot most likely deliberately crashed the aircraft into the Alps

All this information was obtained from the Cockpit Voice Recorder that was found at the crash scene. At the current time, there is no reason for the copilot preforming this horrific act.
