Today was the 2016 “Wings Over Waukegan” Northern Illinois Airshow at the Waukegan National Airport. The airshow is the only one in Lake County and brings many people from the area to view aviation, specifically many World War 2 era aircraft. This year was threatened with rain, but the precipitation left soon after the beginning of the show and blue skies arrived.

We were at the show and were able to snap some pictures which you can view below.
