Norwegian 737MAX 8s Route Schedules

July 15 will bring the first commercial flights for Norwegian 737MAX 8 aircraft. The first two aircraft were delivered towards the end of June. They were originally going to go into service in the middle of June, along with new transatlantic flights, but a delivery delay postponed the operational start until now. Norwegian has a total of 110 737MAXs on order and should have six of them by the end of the year.

We went though Norwegian’s schedules to outline the routes these first aircraft will be utilized on. All these routes are currently operated by 737-800s as placeholders due to the late 737MAX deliveries. This includes routes to Stewart in New York, Hartford in Connecticut, and Providence in Rhode Island. Here are the flights switching over to the 737MAX:

From July 15 or 16 D81640 Edinburg (EDI) – Oslo (OSL) 11:25-14:10 | Return: D81641 OSL – EDI 14:50-15:40 | Every-other day or 1x Daily (Schedules disagree when this service will start/on the frequency)

From July 15: D81608 Edinburg (EDI) – Hartford (BDL) | Return: D81609 BDL – EDI | All 3 weekly services (Tues,Thur,Sat)

From July 15 D81751 Belfast (BFS) – Stewart (SWF) All 3 weekly services (Tues,Thur,Sat)

From July 15 D81760/1762 Stewart (SWF) – Dublin (DUB) 4 out 7 weekly services (Sun,Tues,Thur,Sat) by 737MAX. (All 7 services starting September 1.)

From July 16 D81763 Dublin (DUB) – Stewart (SWF) | 4 out 7 weekly services (Sun,Mon,Wed,Fri) by 737MAX. (All 7 services starting September 1.)

From July 16: D81600 Edinburg (EDI) – Stewart (SWF) | Return: D81601 SWF – EDI | 4 out 7 weekly services (Sun,Mon,Wed,Fri) by 737MAX. (All 7 services starting September 1.)

From July 17:  D81750 Stewart (SWF) – Belfast (BFS) All 3 weekly services (Mon,Wed,Fri)
